Happy Birthday Super Zac!

We celebrated Zac's 4th birthday with a fun superhero party, and lots of good friends.



All the kids got Superhero shirts (with Batman-like fighting phrases) and Superhero capes with their names embroidered on them, that they got to decorate with stickers.




Spiderman joined the party and gave an hour-long show. Here are the kids taking their Superhero Oath.

Spidey made them balloon animals. Surprisingly, most of the boys requested swords. lol

As the parents, we got our own hats. Here we are with Spidey-fingers.

And this is how parents get through the after-party-fatigue/clean-up/when-is-our-naptime afternoon.

Can you stand more birthday cuteness?

Zac loves to write emails. I let him type them in Word since it's easier for him to see what he's writing.

If you've been a lucky recipient of these, now you know he really does do it himself! LOL!

It says, "I love you Daddy B and Mommy loves you." (Daddy B is Brian)

And notice the nametag.... he insisted on wearing it to church this morning...

Burning the house down: Take 2

Things we learned:

* It is entirely possible for chicken nuggets to catch on fire.

* "Microwave safe" bowls will indeed melt when containing flames.

* No matter how CLEAN the microwave looks, the smell of burning plastic will not go away, despite crazy internet claims, including, but not limited to, boiling vinegar, boiling cascade, boiling lemons, boiling coffee grounds, scrubbing microwave with acetone nail polish remover, and/or trusty 409.
