Just to remember a fun little moment. Jessie's Girl came on and we danced the whole song.
Love my family!!

We needed this. We actually had a fight about sippy cups that morning.
Favorite Thai restaurant. Yummy wine. Lots of laughing. Picked up ice cream on the way home to watch Tech win their bowl game.
I love date night. <3

Christmas phone pics
The elves dropped off new jammies and slippers for the kids. They were so excited to leave the cooked for Santa!!
The next morning we made zach wait in his room until 7. (torture) But SG and A are used to laying around in bed until at least 8am, so we wanted them in there as long as possible.
We went into SG's room first. She was thrilled to host a tea party in bed while we tried to waste enough time to let Ash sleep a little bit longer.
Although we didn't wait long enough because he was so sad and confused about waking up too early!
We had a fun day together!!! Most pics are on my real camera. :)

Family pic from random blind woman
She laughed after she handed me back the phone camera, admitting she couldn't see a thing without her glasses.
But by far, the best memory of the night was the church service.
Getting ready was a madhouse. Because that's just how cmas eve is.
And then Zachariah's church shoes were too small, so add in a trip to target to grab him shoes.
Also we really weren't 100% sure in when the service started.
So prepared. I know.
And the kids weren't insanely excited or hyper or anything, of course.
I was looking forward to dropping them off and having a nice service to worship our Lord and Savior! The reason for the season!! :)
But when we got there and went to sign the kids in... well... It turned out that this church doesn't have care on Cmas eve.
(Have I mentioned we haven't found a church home yet? Yeah, so that's been awesome too. )
Also, while zach was okay about "big church and would probably be okay for the most part, the little kids have never been in a service.
But they sure made a name for themselves.
During the first song - a beautiful stringed rendition of The First Noel, Asher had a complete meltdown because he wanted "Down!! DOWN!! MommYYYYYY!!)"
And Selah Grace upset that Zach had found a pen and paper screamed, "I want to color like Bubby!!" then tried to get to my purse and zach tried to stop her and they played tug-of-war while she screamed the way the high pitched way that only a little girl can scream.
Asher continuing to scream as Brian is stepping over people to get out.
Did I mention we were on the balcony so that our children could be heard loud and clear for the ENTIRE church? A beautiful huge baptist church? A huge baptist church in Dallas is pretty packed on Christmas Eve. And echo-y.
The song ended, and I kid you not, the pastor told the congregation that it's okay of your kids make noise and just to relax.
With Brian gone, I had a giggle attack right then and there. Seriously. Actual tears in my eyes.
I knew he wasn't bringing Asher back in. I knew Selah Grace was only going downhill. I had no toys, no snacks, nothin. So, we left. Less than 5 minutes after we got there.
And that was that.
Related: I really miss our old church.

Date day!
I've missed out on the last two dates with zach because I was sick. :(
So we were both so excited for our day together!!!
I tried not to take many pics. Because honestly, it sometimes ruins the mojo. Kwim?
My fav memory was probably going to Starbucks with him. I ordered him a hot chocolate (his very first SB drink everrrr!!). He nursed that thing for hours. I think he really felt special carrying it around the mall. He even saved some for after ice skating!
Another great memory that I don't want to forget is how hard he worked at ice skating. By the time we were done, he could do a whole circle without going near the rails! Never complained. Never gave up. And kept smiling!
I absolutely cherish my one-on-one time with my children. And this day was worth every penny, every second, every call missed, every minute of nap I missed (and I was so tired from working 3 sessions that weekend!!). I feel like that's when I learn about them learn from them, see things I've never seen or hadn't noticed.... I just love it. :)

The one member of the family who has not gotten sick this week.
ZZ had a friend over last week. On a day when the temp was around 70.
They begged to swim, but I didn't think they'd actually jump in.
But they did!!
I put their dry clothes in the dryer so they'd have something cozy warm to change into afterwards. Crazy boys!

Math night
We headed up to Math night at school. Just me and the big kids because A and B are sick this week.
I am completely in love with Z's teacher, so we try to support these cheesy curriculum nights.
She had lots of cute games for the kiddos and SG had fun making chicken sounds during her announcements. (nice)
Then the gym teachers had a fun musical chairs type game that ZZ played so seriously and SG *tried* to play seriously but it involved music and girlfriend cannot NOT break out into dance. It's just impossible.
