But really it's because we need help paying for college.
(And because we simply won't support him if he's 43 and still dependent on us.)
So when a waiter comes to our table, we make big dramatic comments about how he is SO good at his job. And we let Zac help to leave a tip.
At the airport, we talked about how cool of a job it would be to load suitcases on an airplane.
Even when we're trying to speak respectfully about Obama - well, at least he has a job.
So, when Zac ran up to me one day and excitedly told me he had found his calling - I was ecstatic! What would he choose?!
Surely he's old enough not to say "Power Ranger" right?
Maybe he's caught the athletic bug and he's aiming for the big money!
No - it's his smarts. He wants to be Dr. ZZ!
Or - perhaps he's found his inner sensitive self, and is leaning towards a career helping others!
Has our Heavenly Father called him to serve at such a young age?! What a testimony!!!!!
Zac took my hand and let me out to the front porch.
I could hardly hear him over the lawn equipment noises from the lawn company taking care of our neighbor's yard.
Then I realized what he was trying to tell me .......
He wants to grow up to be a leaf blower.
