Selah

When we tell people Selah's name, we usually get a blank stare.

Then we tell people it's in the bible, and try to make them feel guilty.

JUST KIDDING.

Really, what usually comes next is how we pronounce it/spell it. (it's SAY-luh, by the way)

We were already familiar with the word because of a Christian band named Selah. We love some of their songs. In fact, they are releasing a new album in August with a song that is absolutely AMAZING. It's called Redeemed and we'll be sure to blog about it!

You might be familiar with some of Selah's songs already and not even know it..... We encourage you to listen to the short clips - beautiful songs - especially some of their hymn renditions!!

Bless the Broken Road
You Raise Me Up
Wonderful Merciful Savior
Rescue Me

In other news... we're pretty much up to no good around here. Brian is letting me get carried away with more of my crazy ideas. :) He's so patient! Good thing my ideas are always level-headed and realistically sound.

Selah Grace is doing great. She's a kicker, just like Zac. So much that you can easily see the skin on my stomach moving around.

And she just loves her daddy's voice. Brian can always get her going. He loves his special time with her and already has the funniest pet names for her. But, she apparently loves it. We think she'll be a Daddy's Girl!

We/I also think she's a big girl. Probably already about ... oh, 50 pounds or so. I mean, considering all the weight I'm gaining. Surely it's not ME.

And our ZZ is just the sweetest little blessing. We couldn't be prouder of him or ask for anything more. He carries so much on his little heart, that we just can't love on him enough. He makes us laugh daily and we still fall more in love with him every day!

I thought it was See-luh, like the actress Selah Ward, not sure how she spells it though... But I like "Say-luh" too! Still way cute and special!
