We went with Brian's coworkers. It was a sales meeting, but the "meeting" was only on the first day for 2 hours. :) We also had a special dinner that first night. Then it was fun in the sun!!
We spent most of our time just floating around in the pool. Floating to the swim-up bar (where all my drinks were "birgin"), and floating, floating, floating. The mats were great because I got to lay on my stomach and Selah didn't mind at all. :) We did great with the sunblock, and didn't burn at all. I loved getting to know the other wives and coworkers. Everyone was fun and no one seemed too freaked out by my big beach belly.
So, we didn't get a lot of pictures for two reasons: Camera isn't waterproof, and I'm not a big fan of the swimsuit pics right now. :)
Our room was AMAZING. I think it was bigger than our house. Everything was all inclusive, including room service and our stocked fridge. And we had a king-sized bed, which we would LOVE to own someday....
This is exactly what our room looked like. You can't see the ginormous bathroom or huge walk-in closet or kitchen. Nice!!
We also had two sliding doors (from the living room and from the bedroom) that led to the really nice quiet pool that played the most beautiful soothing music all day and fireworks each night. Each night, someone came to turn down our bed, and left us chocolates, the next day's weather, the next day's events, and a pretty red flower.
The restaurants were great, too. Italian, Mexican, Grill, Seafood, and Asian. Pretty much covered anything we would want. The big bummer was that we weren't really all that hungry!
We got some spa coupons, and I made Brian use them. I'm too swollen to enjoy any of that, and I'm lucky enough to have both a husband AND a son who will give me a massage any time I want! He got a great back massage one day, and a salt scrub treatment the next day. I was glad he was able to slow down, relax a little, and enjoy it!
On Friday night we hit the dance floor. It was supposed to be Salsa Night, but we ended up learning The Tango. Then the good music came on, which of course I LOVED and went right out to dance, but Brian got too stressed that someone was going to bump into Selah, or that I would fall, so I mostly just watched from my chair. There's always a lot of good people-watching at a dance club, especially when you don't drink.
BUT, the BEST part of the trip was the Thursday night company dinner. Brian was awarded Top Volume and got a fancy little certificate to bring home. I was very proud of him. He puts so much into his job and works so hard. He's a humble guy, and it was so nice to see a reward for his hard work.
After the other awards were also handed out and pictures were taken, we got the news.....
All the award winners get to come back to the same resort - all expenses paid!!!!!!
We were SO shocked and suprised and excited!!! So, we are trying to get back there in the next couple of weeks, WITH Zac this time! We figure we'll have much more fun before Selah Grace gets here. No worries about naptime, etc. And we can play with ZZ the whole time - including a the waterslide I've been telling Brian I want to try. :)

Also, I plan to get a bazillion pictures of our next trip with my two favorite boys!!!
Today was back to reality. :)
I went to the dr this morning and SG is going wonderful. Zac is really getting into the Dr. appts now. He knows what's coming - the "jelly on the belly" for the dr to hear SG's heartbeat, a little measuring tape, and we are on our way.
I am gaining an atrocious amount of weight. But my sweet doctor (have we mentioned how much we LOVE HIM?!) is not concerned at all. It is a little disheartening and perplexing to see the scale go up and up and up, but I guess as long as she's healthy... I didn't want to have to lose THIS much weight, but hopefully it will come off as quickly as it did with ZZ.
I'm always excited for dr appts, because we get to see one of my most favorite people in the whole world!! Michelle and her little boy Ethan live right on the way, so we get to play with them. Ethan and Zac have been hanging out since they were little guys. Michelle and I met at a mutual friend's baby shower when the boys were about 4-5 months old. We both had to bring our babies and had them squished into our slings. Love at first sight. :) She's been such a rock for me for years in ways she'll never even know. I just love her! And watching E and Z still playing together just makes my heart smile!! They are so stinkin CUTE!! And now our little girls will get to play together too!!

That's all for now. I'm off to sort through toys.
Sadly they won't all FIT into our apartment, so we're scaling back. Which wouldn't be hard, except now that I have spread all the toys out in the living room, Zac has decided he just loves them all. This could get interesting. ;)

Congrats to Brian! How fun that you get to go back!! I'm glad you guys had a good time, and that Miss Selah is growing healthy and strong!
Aw, SARAH!!!! Your post made me mist. I love you. Are you sure you can't do CARES up the street? I will be at every event and bring treats, too!
Look at our babies!
We can't wait to play with you guys again!!!!!
Hey Sarah! It's Adawndria from CARES. I heard you mention your blog address last night! I am so amazed at sweet little Selah Grace's miracle! YAY! Is this the Dreams Resort in Cabo? We were looking to go there for vacation. What'd you think of it? And, I didn't realize you rented out your house to do CARES! We did the same thing! Sorry for the huge, rambling comment.
