There used to be a huge deck covering a lot of the yard. Since that area got such great sun, we wanted to grass it and have an area to play for the kiddos. But when Brian took out the deck, there was a strange metal bowl in the ground. It took an afternoon with his dad to get that thing (and the cement left over from the deck) out of the ground. Hard work!

Now that area is almost ready for sod! I cannot wait! I am going to put the baby pool there this summer. :). After sod, we have a playground to buy, and then the backyard will be ready for summer!!
