Today's post is from June and July.
First off - Zachariah!!! He is at a birthday party climbing on the rock wall. What you can't really see is that he is barely 1-ft off the ground and scared to death. This was as high as he got. lol!
At the same party, they moved to the pool area and in order to get the cool all-access bracelet, they had to swim the length of the pool all by themselves without stopping. He'd never done this before, but seemed very confident.
And he was a total success!!!! I was SO proud of him!!!! I would have hugged him, but all the other boys had already finished and he was really needing to get to the waterslides. Hugging Mom - not a priority.
Here's my door handle. (I had to valet the other day and explain to the guy how to get out of my car. Niiiiiice.)
This crocodile made a lot of appearances at our pool this summer!
My sweet baby girl!! I love this outfit - I think it's super cute! The shoes have "tattoos" on them - one says "I love Mommy" and the other says "I love Daddy." We get stopped all the time asking where we got this! (ftr: it was a gift, but she got it online)
We love the park near our apartment. The ducks are so friendly! Well, maybe they are just hungry.
Zachariah went with me a couple times so I could get a run in and he could ride his bike. Worked out great for both of us!
I made Octo-dogs a couple times this summer - with blue rice. He LOVES this lunch! I stole it from my friend Shannon's bento blog.
Another cute outfit that I love - with matching leg warmers. CUTE! This shirt says, "Good looks run in the family. I got mine from my auntie." Love it!
These two notes deserve their own post all-together. Can't even express how much I love this little guy!!!
"All love you more than you'll ever tow" he writes. Then he laughs hysterically at his joke. "Get it Mom? Tow?! Like a tow truck?! HAHAHA!!!"
(I didn't really get it, but it's still so cute!)

This was another one. It's supposed to say, "I love Mom and Dad" The MAD stands for Mom And Dad. He was in a phase of telling us the first letter of every word. This phase was a bit annoying at the time, but before long it stopped, and then we forgot about it, and then I found this note in my notepad later and remembered that phase and NOW it's super cute. :)

ANOTHER cute outfit that was gifted to sweet Selah Grace! This one says, "Little Sisters ROCK." She knows how adorable she looks!

At our "rental" house, cleaning/painting between renters. Zachariah wanted to help so badly. Brian is so so particular about painting, this was a special kind of torture for him to let Zachariah help paint. But they both did a great job .... haha!! (love how Brian is hovering...haha!!)

Thankfully, he soon got really busy collecting roly-polies outside. This kept him busy forever.

Selah Grace just dies when Brian goes on the patio without her. She bangs on the door and yells for him to come back in! (by the way, the white crayon is Zachariah's target that he drew for his nerf guns... haha)

We did a lot of VBS this summer. And Zac LOVED each one of them! Here he is in the gray tanktop getting down during praise and worship. Singing/dancing was one of his most favorite parts of vbs.

A drawing by Zachariah. He is hunting with Brian. There is a tree in the background with birds in it. And it appears that they have plenty of ammunition.

Oh - how I miss these!!! Zachariah will walk and jump on our backs and it feels so good!! I can't wait until next spring when I can get another "back massage" from this little guy. They seriously ROCK.

Another way she can't get to Daddy. This drives her nuts! Perhaps she is hoping he will dress her?

Another day of collecting bugs. This time, I was sleeping (I slept away most weekends during the past couple of months, so it wasn't uncommon for Zac to find me in bed) and I woke up to him showing me all his bugs.

I love how he writes, "Get it?" and I can just hear him giggling at his own humor. Silly guy!
