Home sweet home

Soooo thankful to be home finally.

Just a quick second to update: the specialist we were supposed to see on Friday called and wants to see Selah Grace tomorrow at 1:00. Please keep that appointment in your prayers!! We are so hopeful and excited to see what the Lord can do in this situation!!! :)


And I didn't get a chance to post a Happy Birthday post today to my amazing wonderful FIRST born - Happy Birthday ZZ!!!

Pics/videos of the kids meeting for the first time will come soon.

I'm so happy to be home! Just so tired and hurting. Darn that c-section! ;)



And one more thing - my mom's dad passed away earlier this week. We are praying for Grandpop as he rests in our Father's arms. And for Grammy who must miss him desperately. And for my mama... it hurts to see my mama so sad. I so wish I could be up in CO this week for the services, but obviously that can't happen. Anyways, makes this week a bit bittersweet for us. And Brian never got to meet him, which we are SO sad about.

Celebrating a birth and grieving a loss is just emotionally complicated, but the blessing is that we will see Grandpop again in Heaven. Praise God for that.

Off to cuddle in my own warm bed with my own soft sheets.... aaaaaaahhhhhh......
